SPANS provides family counselling, psychological support, research and education to urban and rural communities within Zimbabwe. Through their regular clients and their walk-in clinic SPANS provide mental health services to people from all backgrounds.
The challenge that SPANS faced, was that there is a very limited amount of funding available for maternal, paternal and children’s mental health and without a recognisable and unique brand identity, they are unable to get their good work noticed by potential international funders and philanthropists.
To help overcome this, SPANS worked with Ember on a rebranding process that included the creation of a new visual identity which tells the story of the work conducted by SPANS in a simple and professional way.
By combining brightly-coloured hand-crafted visuals with a strong serif font the brand is able to appeal to both the family clients of the clinic and international funders alike.
